Changsha University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with City University of Malaysia

On April, 18, a delegation led by Mr. Xu Yazhi, Vice President of City University of Malaysia, visited Changsha University. Vice President Liu Shichang met the guests.

Vice President Liu Shichang first delivered a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced Changsha University. He said, China and Malaysia are close neighbors, and tie closely in culture and country development, the two peoples enjoy a long history of traditional friendship. Malaysia has become an important strategic partner of China in Southeast Asia after propounding the policy “One Belt, One Road”. City University of Malaysia is the first of ours to cooperate in Southeast Asia. Changsha University will seize the historical opportunity bringing from the strategic development of “One Belt, One Road” to develop the cooperation in the field of mutual visits and exchanges students between two universities, and continuously explore the potential cooperative possibilities in the project of teacher visits and development, undergraduate programs and students summer programs.

Vice President Xu Yazhi expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of our school and introduced the development history of the City University of Malaysia. Subsequently, the two schools signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
