Delegation of Changsha University visited Universities in the United States and Canada

On invitation by University of Michigan, British Columbia Institute of Technology, a delegation led by Qu Linyan, Deputy party secretary of Changsha University, paid an official visit to these two universities from September 21 to September, 28.

The delegation first arrived at University of Michigan in the United States. Vice president, Professor Jack Hu, Deputy Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science in Dearborn, Professor Ghassan Kridl and Professor Yi Lu Murphey warmly hosted the delegation. They visited engineering laboratories and other facilities in Ann Arbor and Dearborn, and had preliminary discussions on the fields of cooperation and specific projects.

Then, the delegation visited Professor Zhu in Michigan State University, and was invited to visit the engineering laboratory and school-enterprise cooperation platform.

During the visit in British Columbia Institute of Technology, Deputy secretary Qu Linyan discussed the applied-teacher training program with the Dean of International Department, Director of Confucius Institute in Vancouver, Doctor Lawrence Gu, Director of Chinese cooperation program, Jeff Du.

Discussed the joint program in University of Michigan, Dearborn.

Discussed the teacher training program in British Columbia Institute of Technology
