Delegation Led by Vice President Liu Shichang Visited Institutes in England, Ireland, and France

On invitation by University of Law, Institute of Technology Carlow, EISTI in France, a delegation led by Liu Shichang, Vice President of Changsha University, paid an official visit to these three institutes from October, 11 to October, 20.

The delegation visited University of Law in England from October,11 to October, 13. Vice President of University of Law, Professor Andrea Nollent, Professor Vassilis Konstantinou, Dean of the Moorgate Campus, Doctor Jill Howell-Williams, and Dean of College of Business, Doctor Elizabeth Shaw gave a warm welcome and accompanied the delegation in the course of visit to the Moorgate Campus in London. Both parties conducted a in-depth discussion on the fields which are available to cooperate.

October, 14, the delegation arrived in Ireland. Because of the windstorm, Vice President Liu Shichang had a phone meeting with the Professor David Denieffe, Vice President of Institute of Technology Carlow. They had a discussion on issues as scientific research, students exchange, mutual recognition of credit, mutual visit of teachers, teacher training and visiting scholars.

October, 17,the delegation visited EISTI in France. Vice President Liu Shichang had a meeting with Supervisor of International Relationship, Ms. Marie-Josee Lamerre, and Supervisor of Scientific Research, Professor Rachid Chelouah. They had a conversation on joint cultivation program, short-term students and teachers exchange.

This visit has expanded the cooperation and exchanges between Changsha University and institutes in Europe, improved the geographical layout of international cooperation, and provided more exchange platforms for students and teachers.
